Spring Cleaning Mode

Yesterday, buat spring cleaning in Amsyar's room...also used by the kids as a playroom...

Too much of spoiled toys...dah lama tak buat sport check ! Most of the toys...been spoilt by Amsyar, modified here and there, cabut sini sana, pasang sini sana...huh boy!

Next Year Amsyar dah standard one, his room must be tailored to a room for him not only to play but to study and do his homework!
Need to get a good table, chair and book shelf soon!

And for today, I hire a cleaner for 4 hours to clean d house! It's quite sometimes already...nak kena clean yang major-major...

Previously I used to have a weekly or fortnightly cleaner, tapi due to my 'tight and rigid' on call schedule, it is so difficult to make an arrangement...and it will always be a last minute booking and the cleaner is not available during whatever time I would like to have...

I've tried few companies, none of them 'perfect' so far... Still need to supervise them, kalau tak sure ada yang tak bersih...

Yesterday I just googled and get few numbers...called them up and made arrangements. Rm15 for one hour for one maid and minimum to hire is 4 hours...and they bring their own tools.

Anyone out there have any experience with daily or weekly maid which is really reliable?

Wah yr son will be in stdrd 1. Betul tu..bilik kena ready. I do the cleaning on my own now.Rasa nak patah pinggang! My maid for 6 years dah balik endon. I wish that she would come back here. Life is hard without her but good 4 my children cause they learn to do things on their own...So far I hv no experience with maid yg dtg umah.

Jem, I thought u ada maid.

I've been thinking of hiring part-time cleaners as well..considering now pun I dah tak larat nak buat sendiri... So far blm tau which one yg reliable...but I guess mmg kena try dulu baru boleh judge kan. Plus, mmg kena monitor..if not how will we know whether they're going a good job or not, right.

may I ask, where do you get the toys organizer from? Is it a taylor-made fitted toy organizer? I have been looking for something like the one you have, or is it actually a bookcase which later turned into a toys organizer?

TK : yup he will be in Std 1 next year. I am living without maid...so major things kena panggil cleaner. It's true that without maid, kids are more independent and gud things about it is they learn to do simple things on their own!

ICA: I tak de maid..the last maid that i have masa Arissa newborn..been with few maids but did not last, max of 8 months! I think it is more easier for you to have a daily/weekly basis maid because you are at home..senang nak monitor.

Anonymous : That's from IKEA. It's a really cool organizer! you can mix and match. It can turn it to be a book shelves too.

salam singgah... mmg penat kalau nk clearkan rumah ni. sy kadang2 panggil cleaner kat opis je.. bagi upah pun tak la mahal sgt. kdg2 panggil part time maid indon, sejam rm10. now da ada maid.. lagi permaisuri la diri ku. hehe..

btw, sy sgt2 nak beli storage ikea tu. tp so colorful la pulak. ermm nk letak dlm bilik mcm sempit je, sbb bilik tetamu je yg tinggal. 1bilik lagi da jd bilik maid. haihhh...
