Eid Mubarak!

"One significance of Eid-ul-Adha is that it is a time of sacrifice.

Muslims commemorate phrophet Ibraham’s willingness to sacrifice everything for Allah including his beloved son, Ismael. Since Allah replaced Ismael with a lamb to sacrifice in place of his son, Muslims also offer the sacrifice of animals. The sacrifice can be done after the prayer on the 10th until 12th day of the al-Hijjah month before sunset. The meat of the animals is distributed among the relatives, the needy people and some portion is also kept for one one’s own consumption."

we spent first day Raya there, second Raya beraya di Ipoh and on the third Raya balik Trg, my side pulak...

spent 3 days in Trg..sempat cover all aunties and uncles houses..and organized family BBQ 

at my parents house...

Amsyar turns 6 today!

Happy 6th birthday to my handsome boy! Nabil Amsyar

We celebrated his birthday earlier, last weekend...

Happy Birthday

31st August , the day i was born in year 19_ _....

an Independence Day for our country Malaysia...

I always get excited during the day...when i was a child...not only because of my 'birth' day...

but because it is a public holiday...so it feels like everybody is celebrating it!

and nobody in the family will ever forget my 'birth' day!

when i get older...i feel so proud to be a 'merdeka day' born....

Alhamdulillah...God gives me a beautiful life...until today

I thank Allah for that...

we had a small celebration..with my family

thanx hubby for the lovely cake :-)

Raya mode is in the air...

we are almost at three quarter of Ramadhan...and like everybody else...my raya mode is in the air now..be it at work, home...my mind is in keeping with raya preparation...

so how's your raya preparation?

but not to forget Ibadah...di akhir Ramadhan...lailatul qadar...

my checklist for this year Raya:

First day raya attire : Kurung for me and daughters, tudung, Baju melayu, songkok, sampin for hubby and son - checked

Baju raya for kids : more than enough....non-stop shopping for them since a month before Ramadhan, be it on line or kat shopping mall

Raya shoes for me and hubby : i tak de kasut raya....yet or kalau tak beli pun belasah je mana-mana kasut yang sedia ada, as for hubby he doesn't want a new one! budget bagi kat i...kay hehe..

Raya shoes for daughters : checked

Raya shoe for my son : His new crocs dah kena rembat hari tu...kesian..so no more crocs after this...Amsyar doesn't like to wear proper shoe actually, suka slip on sandal je...easy katanya...so will by him birkenstock sandal kat Bangsar one of these days

Telekung sembahyang Raya me and Batrisyia : checked

Bag Raya : checked...hehehe akan dirasmikan di hari raya pertama...ambik sunat

Kuih Raya, Kek Raya : checked, dah selamat satu balang habis di makan..hehehe but more will come...

Duit Raya???? - checked...hubby will prepare..

 what else???

today, we attended two majlis makan-makan...at 12.30pm we had our lunch at kenduri kesyukuran hosted by my kids nursery owner, k.Sya.

Next, we went to Joode's house..Batrisyia's friend to celebrate his birthday party plus his younger brother Izaaz and plus her mommy..Julie (Joode's father is my hubby's friend).Blue and white is the party theme colour..wow! i just can say the party is huge and full with games for kids and macam-macam food ada..starting from heavy menu...nasi briani with ayam and daging...satay, roti jala, mee sup..bla bla..stall with cendol, ice-cream bla-bla..and this mommy can't stop eating! haha lucky that today i feel better than the previous, previous day...knocked off with very very bad urti..till needed augmentin to settle down!

In the middle of the party..they have magic show to entertain the kids and lots of games for the kids to participate...and lastly upacara potong kek and birthday songs! the party is great..only today the weather is hot..so my eldest starts to have eczema rashes and starts scratching! ouuchhh! pity her...but that's not bothering her to cont playing!
