when boredom hits you...

I should't put this entry over the weekend...hahaha but it's a reality that everyone gets bored once in awhile not excluding me...

Well here are some ideas of what you can do to get over that boredom...and i should try it myself!

• Play a video game?

With millions of games to choose form video games are a great way to have fun. There are website with free games all over the web, so if you don't want to spend money a quick Google search for games will give you millions of result. If your willing to spend some money many more titles await you from, PC games such as World of Wacraft, Aion, Warhammer, Age of Conan, to console games the fact is a game exists for you somewhere. If you do not have a Nintendo Wii, xbox360, or Ps3 yet now is as good as any time to get it. All of these sytems have some great titles from Call of Duty Modern Warfare two, to Madden, to Wii Fit. No matter what game you choose video games are a great way to pass the time an enjoy yourself while at it.

• Make a meal....but when you are bored plus some laziness in you....mmmmm..

Cooking can be an extremely fun and tasty way to pass the time. Baking a cake or cooking a fancy dish not only passes the time now but leaves food to eat for later. We all eat everyday so if you're bored at one time why not make your food ahead of time so that you have it premade if you're in a rush later.

• Learn a new skill

There are thousands of different skills that can be enjoyable, pass the time, and can even be profitable. Often learning these skills is simple and can be fun in and of itself. Some fun skills include woodworking, website design, knitting, music, and baking. The key is to try new things and expand your horizon, who knows maybe you will be the next Da Vinci. All of these can be picked up through online resources or you find tutorial books at your local book store or in many online stores.

• Feel The Burn....Oh i don't have any..to burn!

Whether you're looking to bulk up on some muscle or cut down on the tum tum, working out can be a great way to pass time. Not all of us have the time or money to subscribe to a local gym that you might never go to, but don't worry. There are many ways you can stay healthy and burn some calories in and around your own home and for cheap. A personal favorite is the push-up/sprint routine. The goal is to complete 150 push-ups. This is extremely challenging to do consecutively so each time you take a break from doing the push-ups you have to sprint 40 yards.

Of-course this can be scaled down to your fitness level. This a more vigorous type of training, but there are also exercises that require less energy and can even be completed while reading this article. Place two 2 pound weights in each of your hands and hold them up so that your hands are perpendicular to your body (like a T). Begin to move your arms in a small circular motion and continue this for 5 minutes. This may seem easy at first, but you'll "feel the burn" in given time.

• Organize a Flash mob

Although flash mobs have recently gotten a bad rep. They are actually an artistic and fun thing to do. A Flash mob is a type of artistic expression made up of humans when in their purest form. Flash mobs are a group of people usually organized over a social networking site to meet up. They then all do a crazy stunt or skit. Some popular flash mobs have been freezing in place, pillow fights, poke fights, ninja fights, and many more. These can be a great way to liven up the day and give you a story to talk about for a long time after.

• Make a Sliquid....what's this?

Well I guess you could say this was a liquid, but at the same time you might conclude that it's a solid. It's actually a non-Newtonian fluid, but I prefer to just call it fun. Because non-Newtonian fluids contain properties of both a liquid and a solid, you are able to pour the fluid into your hand and begin rolling it around like a ball. Now most of you are probably thinking, "It'll probably take forever to make this stupid thing," but actually all you need is cornstarch. Put some water in a bowl, (about 1.5 cups cornstarch 1 cup water) and begin adding the cornstarch as you stir. Once the mixture thickens, try poking it firmly with your spoon. If your spoon doesn't reach the bottom of the bowl when you poke through your non-Newtonian fluid is ready and the fun begins.

• Take a Drive...aha!

Hopping into your car and taking a drive can be fun and a great way to release stress. Taking a drive out into the country or along back roads can allow you to discover brand new places. Getting lost along the way can even become fun in itself. Finding your way back can be a journey. Driving your car is also one of he simplest ways to cool off after something bad happens. Whether you choose to take a drive for your lunch break or spend the day on a road trip, you can let your trouble melt away. Just crank up the tunes and enjoy yourself.

• Do Origami....

Origami is a great way to relive stress and enjoy yourself. Not only that but once your done you can display them. Origami ranges from the most simplistic designs like making a jumping frog to extremely complex pieces. No matter what you make though you can take pride in having made a beautiful work of art. The favorite part about origami is the fact that all you need is a piece of paper to make it. So no matter where you are chances are that you have the required materials on you.

Thanx God....I have a cute little girl who will always cheer me up! Thank you Arissa :-)

Happy weekend!
